Bring PWP to your school.
A chapter is a group of students at one high school who sew, letter and deliver plushies to children in their own community. There are 12 of them across 4 counties.
What a chapter does
Three things, every term.
Sew and collect
Chapters hand-sew bears from recycled fabric, and take in gently used plushies donated locally.
Write the letter
Every plushie is paired with a personalized letter describing the wild and silly backstory of the toy.
Deliver them
Chapters distribute at food pantry drives and to families in their own community.
Who can start one
If you are a high school student, you can ask.
Every chapter so far has been founded by a high school student who wanted one at their own school. You do not need sewing experience — the pattern and the six-step tutorial are free, and the executive board will walk you through the rest.
